Peter Krikke (brother of Ron & John) formed Krikke Motorsport in 1980

in Bunbury, Western Australia. He bought their first car from Bob Trossle,

who was touring from the United States. Gary Rush first drove the car,

before John Fenton and John Krikke.

Shane Krikke (Peter's son) took over from John Krikke, until he was forced

into early retirement in 1998. American Donny Schatz next drove for the

Krikke MotorSport Team on a tour from the United States in 1999.

The Krikke family, one of the most well-regarded and famous families

in Australian Speedway was devastated by the loss of Ron's son Darryl

and John's son Jason, who were tragically killed in a road accident in

the late 1990's. There was a race at Bunbury the week of their funeral,

which was declared a Memorial to "The Boys", and to keep the memory

of them alive, Ron and John Krikke began running the now-famous

"Krikke Boys Shootout", held at Bunbury City Raceway every March.

In the years 2000/2001 and 2001/2002, Skip Jackson drove the Krikke

car, and won the Australian Sprintcar Title with them in 2001.

Robbie Farr then drove for the team in 2002/2003 and 2003/2004, and

won the Australian Sprintcar Title with them in 2004 at their home track

at Bunbury City Raceway.

to join Queensland's Titan Racing. Western Australian Mark Wells joined

the team for the 2004/2005 season to replace the departed Robbie Farr.
