The World of Outlaws Series is the top Sprintcar Series in the United
States, and has been running for over 27 years. The Series is grueling,
with nearly 100 races across the country, travelling from coast to coast.
Steve "King" Kinser has won 20 World of Outlaws Series, a record near
impossible to beat, given the competitiveness of the Series these days.
Unlike the majority of Sprintcars in Australia, which have 372 cubic
inch engines, the World of Outlaws have 410 cubic inch engines.
The tracks of the World of Outlaws include:
Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania

Parramatta City Raceway in Sydney, Australia, made history four years ago
when they ran the first World of Outlaws event outside the United States.
The World of Outlaws also raced in New Zealand shortly after the Down
Under event in 2006. The fourth "World of Outlaws Down Under" event
was run at Parramatta City Raceway on 18, 19 and 20 January 2007.
The 2006 World of Outlaws Series was vastly different from previous
years. At the end of 2005, a majority of the Outlaws drivers announced
they were defecting to the newly-formed National Sprint Tour, a rival
series to the Outlaws, effectively dividing Sprintcar racing in the US.
After the failure of the National Sprint Tour in 2006, the 2007 World
of Outlaws Series will see the return of the drivers who left the Series
last year, including Steve Kinser, Danny Lasoski, Sammy Swindell and
Paul McMahan, to join the 2006 Outlaws drivers, including Brooke
Tatnell, Donny Schatz, Craig Dollansky, Daryn Pittman, Terry McCarl,
Jac Haudenschild and Randy Hannagan.
The 2007 Series will also include a return to Outlaws racing in Canada,
with a round at Ohsweken Speedway in Ohsweken, Ontario, on 25
July 2007, and two rounds at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta,
on 17 & 18 August 2007.
The first round of the 2007 World of Outlaws Series will be at Volusia
Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida, on 9, 10 & 11 February 2007.
